The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a high quality, enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme of personal development activities for anyone aged 14 - 25.
There are three awards in the programme (Bronze, Silver and Gold) and young people take part in four activities to gain an award:

At the Gold level participants must also take part in a residential experience.
Cambridgeshire County Council is the Licensed Operator for the Award in the County, which caters for around 2,500 young people in over 30 groups including schools and youth organisations.
