Current air pollution levels are influenced by a number of factors. These include daily weather conditions, seasonal atmospheric variations, local and regional sources of pollution and surrounding landscape features.
The links to the right lead to information on the following:
- 1 Day Regional Forecast - Forecast and present conditions for sites in the Eastern region. A regional forecast is also available on Internet, teletext or freephone.
- Today in Cambridge - Hourly data for 4 monitoring stations in Cambridge city. Provides data and graphs for the last 24 hours.
- Trends Across the UK - Current levels at over 100 national monitoring stations. The East Anglian section is two thirds down the page.
Trends this week
Cambridgeshire's two automatic national monitoring stations in East Cambridgeshire and Cambridge City collect data from Wicken Fen and the Cambridge roadside national station. Links to the right take you to the daily mean data for:
- The Last 7 Days - East Cambridgeshire (Daily mean data from the Wicken Fen station)
- The Last 7 Days - Cambridge City (Daily mean data from the Cambridge roadside national station.)
