Cambridgeshire Definitive Map and Statement

The Definitive Map is the County Council’s record of all the registered Public Rights of Way in Cambridgeshire.

It is a public document, which can be viewed during reasonable office hours at Castle Court, Shire Hall, Cambridge. The map is accompanied by a Definitive Statement describing each path, sometimes including details of the path’s recorded width.

The Definitive Map and Statement are conclusive proof of at least the rights which they record. However, there may be unrecorded rights and there are mechanisms in place to register unrecorded rights.
