Cambridgeshire County Council has established a Local Access Forum, as required under the Countryside Rights Of Way Act (CROW) 2000.
The forum represents the interests of everyone who lives and works in the countryside, and is trying to strike a balance between conserving it, working it and helping people to enjoy it.
LAF support for Landscape East
Cambridgeshire Local Access Forum (LAF) is delighted to support the Landscape East Project.
The Wicken Fen Vision will provide a marvellous resource for the County, not only creating fenland habitat but also a valuable 'green lung'.
The proposed Wicken Drove network of footpaths, cycle ways and bridleways, in addition to the extensive footpath network at Wicken Fen already, show the opportunities for a substantial improvement for public access.
This and the resulting improved quality of life for Cambridgeshire residents and visitors to the area are aspects of the Landscape East Project which LAF is keen to offer its fullest support to.
