Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPS)

Extras

The 45 Habitat and Species Action Plans were first produced in 1999, they have been reviewed in 2003 and 2008.  The BAPs were partially monitored in 2002.  A complete review of all the BAPS nationally took place in 2007, and  local BAPS are now monitored in a nationwide database, the Biodiversity Action Reporting System (BARS) - see link on right.

A lists of all species occurring in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough which have BAP status from the 2007 national review can be found on the right hand side under Publications.
