The Biodiversity Partnership offers funding support for local Biodiversity Projects. You also find links to other funding sources and tips for successful applications.
Do you need money to help make your biodiversity project a reality? The Biodiversity Partnership launched a small grants scheme for projects in 2006. The aim is to support the implementation of biodiversity action across the county. We welcome applications for up to a maximum of £5000. You find a couple of example applications on the right hand side to help you get inspired for developing your own project ideas. Do have a look at the project proposal form (also available as a Word document, see on the right) .

Community Groups (PDF - 44kb)
Grants available only to community groups
Minority Groups (PDF - 21kb)
Grants available only to disadvantaged minority groups, such as the physically or mentally disabled, ethnic minorities and groups from economically deprived areas. Grants fund a variety of biodiversity related schemes, usually with an aspect of promoting social inclusion.
Parishes (PDF -16kb)
Grants only available to parishes, to fund biodiversity projects.
Schools (PDF - 32kb)
Biodiversity grants available only to schools. Most grants fund projects that improve the school environment or facilitate new and imaginative ways of learning.
General Grants (PDF - 115kb)
Grants available to members of all the above groups. The list is sub-divided into grants that fund projects involving the following:
