The Green Vision will make Cambridgeshire a better place for people to live, work and enjoy while improving and increasing habitats for wildlife. It involves a range of exciting projects bringing benefits to both the current and future communities of Cambridgeshire.

Providing an enhanced environmental backdrop will promote high quality development, assist in attracting business and inward investment, increase the sense of community and provide opportunities for exercise, sport and informal recreation.

The Green Vision builds upon existing initiatives and promotes a wide number of new projects. The strategy is based on a 20-year plan, with projects prioritised into three groups:

• Years 1-3
• Years 4-10
• Years 10-20

These project lists are not conclusive, there is the opportunity for further initiatives to be developed and added to the Green Vision.
