WET WEATHER UPDATE: At the beginning of May we deferred the opening of most seasonal Traffic Regulation Order barriers on byways due to wet weather and the likely prospect of significant surface damage if recreational 4x4 use was permitted to resume. Given the improving conditions in most places, we opened most (but not all) routes on Monday 21st May. If the drying conditions continue, then the rest should be open soon. We still ask all users to show restraint in activity which might damage remaining soggy surfaces. The start of our first grass cut was also delayed in some places, but this is now well under way.
