Enjoying the countryside

Looking for free, healthy, fun activities close to home? Why not try out one of the many countryside  activities on offer in Cambridgeshire. Enjoy the wildlife, fresh air and ever-changing scenery of the countryside. 3,000 km of public rights of way managed by Cambridgeshire County Council are waiting for you.

If you join an organisation or group activity, it's a great way to meet people and make new friends.

Places to go

View our online map to explore Cambridgeshire's rights of way network and find your local public footpaths, bridleways and byways and selected permissive paths - see 'find your rights of way' on the right hand menu.

A range of leaflets is available from the Rights of Way and Access team and we are working to make them downloadable from this site.

Things to Do
