Would you like to get involved?

Rights of Way and countryside access more generally in Cambridgeshire has always benefited from the involvement of parishes, committed users and responsible landowners.

We have for many years worked in partnership with a range of Parishes through the Parish Paths Partnership (P3). P3 provides opportunities to get involved at local level. There is now a 'members only' user group available on the internet to help P3 members communicate with each other as well as with the County Council team.

Given that budgets at the County Council are under pressure, we encourage parishes and users to look at opportunities for external funding for network improvements which the County may not be eligible to bid for.

The Local Access Forum provides guidance to the County Council on more strategic countryside access issues. LAF recruits on a regular basis.

There are many opportunities for people to get involved in projects and groups in the Cambridgeshire countryside. We work alongside various volunteer groups who are keen to involve new volunteers in countryside management.

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact any of the groups listed (see the links panel), to find out how you can help in your area.
