How do I apply to register a new village
green?
If you would like to make an application to register a piece of land as a new town or village green you will need to submit a Form 44.
Form 44 and guidance notes are available electronically at the bottom of this page, or a paper copy can be requested by contacting the Countyside and Rights of Way Team.

How do I apply to amend the register in relation to a right of common?
If you wish to apply to have the details of a common right amended you will need to complete a CR Form 19 (made under Section 13 of the Commons Registration Act 1965). This form can be requested by contacting the Countryside and Rights of Way Team.
Consent to construct works on common land and applications to deregister or to deregister and exchange common land or village greens
