Sustainable Energy
Extras

We can reduce the environmental impacts of energy use in two ways: we can use less by being energy efficient, and we can use energy from different, renewable sources.

The National Energy Foundation website provides information on solar energy, wind energy, biomass, hydropower and geothermal energy. These are all forms of renewable energy which are green and sustainable. Their use in the UK is growing and their contribution to combating climate change is increasingly important.

The Renewables East site provides detailed information on renewable energy in the East of England.

The Energy Saving Trust Anglia Advice Centre provides free impartial advice tailored specifically to homes in East Anglia.
