Anyone can make representations on planning applications. To do so you need to:

Search planning applications and permissions online
- The planning application reference number and site address
- Your name and address
You can then comment on a planning application the following ways:
- Electronically via the Planning Register during the consultation period only.
- By email to planningdc@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
- By fax on 01223 475998
- By post to Minerals and Waste Planning Team, Box CC1213, Shire Hall, Cambridge, CB3 0AP
- Delivery in person to Cambridgeshire County Council Reception.
Please note that representations are put on a public file and will be made available for members of the public to view.
Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans and other documents submitted with it at Castle Court Reception, Shire Hall, Castle Hill, Cambridge, or at the appropriate District Council Office. Planning applications can also be viewed online.
Please note that the county council only deals with planning applications for the following:
- Development Control
- Mineral planning
- Waste planning
- County Council development

Speaking at a committee
If you have already sent your views on a planning application to the county council you may also speak at a meeting of the Development Control Committee before a decision is made. If you wish to do this please read the guidance and complete the registration form below.
