The County Council determines 3 types of applications. Those for the Councils own development such as schools and roads (known as Regulation 3 application) and those for mineral and waste development.
Regulation 3 and Waste Applications should be submitted:

Online: Via the Planning Portal, a Government hosted website that caters for Regulation 3 applications and waste applications, this has been specifically designed for the Standard Application Form (compulsory since April 2008). To apply click on the link below.

For further information on Regulation 3 and waste applications follow the link ‘Online Planning Application Form’ on the left hand side. Alternatively, these can also be submitted by post and should be sent to the address on the right hand side.
Mineral Applications fall outside the Standard Application Form. Therefore, minerals applications should be submitted:

By Email: Complete the 'Mineral Application Form' on the right hand side and send it to planningdc@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.

By Post: Complete the ‘Mineral Application Form’ below and send it to: Minerals and Waste Planning Team, Box CC1213, Shire Hall, Cambridge, CB3 0AP. Guidance to help you complete the application form and provide the necessary information for your minerals applications is included within the form. Three copies should be submitted.
Other applications (such as non-material amendments and discharge of planning conditions) should be submitted via the Planning Portal. Follow the link ‘Planning Portal’ or alternatively use the application form on the right hand side.
