As Waste Planning Authority (WPA) the County Council Receives Applications for:

  • landfilling or landraising. This can be biodegradable waste such as household waste or inert waste such as soils, hardcore, concrete, crushing, metal recycling
  • incineration of waste
  • composting
  • Household Waste Recycling facilities
  • Thermal treatment of Waste
