PLAN UPDATE
The Core Strategy has been found sound by the Planning Inspector.

Core Strategy submitted to Planning Inspectorate
A Pre-hearing Meeting (PHM) was held on Tuesday 5 October 2010 in the Barbican Room, Park House, Shire Hall, Cambridge, CB3 0AP. This meeting focused on the procedures for the Examination.
A Guidance Note was prepared which detailed the procedures to be followed during the Examination process and provided useful information about the facilities and arrangements for the Examination.
An introductory letter was sent to all those who made representations during the submission consultation stage of the Core Strategy DPD.
The Inspector's Matters and Issues for the Examination, and the Hearings Programme for the Examination, can be viewed using these links. The Examination Hearings of the Core Strategy took place between 30 November and 15 December 2010.
As part of the Core Strategy Examination, a familiarisation tour/site visit day took place on Tuesday 14 December 2010. Details of this are outlined below:

A Reference Library List was prepared detailing the documents expected to be referred to most frequently by participants. These documents were available to view in the Examinations Library. Where available, a link has been provided in the list to the electronic version of the document.
