Plans for development

The Council is responsible for preparing Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Minerals and Waste Development Plan which has been adopted by the County Council.

It forms part of the Development Plan for Cambridgeshire with the following documents:

There are also three Supplementary Planning Documents which have been adopted by the County Council related to the Minerals and Waste Plan:

The County Council also produces a number of monitoring publications relating to the delivery of development in Cambridgeshire which are used by the District Councils to inform the preparation of their Local Plans.

The Council as Lead Local Flood Authority is also responsible for the preparation of a Flood Risk Management Strategy for Cambridgeshire and Surface Water Management Plans.
