Issues and Options 1 & 2 - Informal Consultation Reg 25
Extras

In summer 2005 preliminary work started on the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Minerals and Waste Development Plan, with an Issues and Options consultation. This consultation outlined key topics for debate and shared suggestions for new mineral extraction and waste management sites. A Schedule of the representations received during this consultation has been compiled.

As a result of this initial consultation, additional suggested locations were proposed for minerals and waste development, and these formed the basis of a second Issues and Options consultation between January 2006 and April 2006.

Please note that the inclusion of site specific proposals within this consultation should not be taken to imply support for the proposal by the County and/or City Council.

The results of stakeholder consultation had been fed into the development of the Preferred Options Plan, which sets out the Council's Preferred Options in terms of planning policies and site specific proposals.
