Cambridgeshire and Peterborough's Structure Plan was adopted on 22nd October 2003. 

After the approval of the East of England Plan in May 2008 all but 13 of the policies in the Plan have been superceded. The saved policies are available in the publication on the right. 

The Structure Plan provided the framework for the district councils’ preparation of detailed Local Development Frameworks or Local Plans, up to 2016.

Paper copies of the Plan can still be purchased, at a cost of £20.00 + £3.00 p&p. with cheques payable to Cambridgeshire County Council, or by calling at Castle Court Reception at Shire Hall Cambridge.
