Cambridgeshire Land Use

In 2010 the Cambridgeshire Local Authorities acquired a new Land Use data set covering the entire County. It was created by coding each Ordnance Survey MasterMap polygon using NLUD 3.3 classification through interpretation of Aerial Photographs. The Research and Monitoring team have undertaken a small project to assess Cambridgeshire Land Use against a number of different criteria that fall under the duties of the Local Authorities. The Cambridgeshire Landuse Report.pdf (1054Kb)  and associated maps are just a taster of what the Land Use can be used for, and it is hoped that the data will be widely used as an evidence base for forward planning in the coming years.
