The Technical Report is an important background document to the preparation of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Structure Plan, as it provides technical details of the estimates and forecasts in the Plan for population, households and employment/labour supply. The report gives details for each District Council area and, where data is available, also for the two sub areas - Cambridge Sub-Region and Peterborough & North Cambridgeshire.

The main body of the report covers the key outcomes of forecasting, whilst appendices provide more detail and technical notes on the modelling procedures adopted.

The Technical Report was published early in 2002. Later in the year a Supplement was produced to give more up-to-date figures when the Structure Plan was considered at the Examination in Public.
