Cambridgeshire's residents produced over 288,000 tonnes of waste in 2010/11, and 53.3% of this was recycled or composted.
We work with residents to reduce the amount of waste produced, and reuse, recycle or compost as much as possible to help protect our environment.

Cambridgeshire County Council is part of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Waste Partnership, which was awarded Beacon council status 2006/7 for waste and recycling.
