Nene Washes Nature Reserve

A nature reserve containing wetland birds and large flocks of mixed finches. There are no visitor facilities. There is a public footpath for bird watching adjacent to the reserve.

Open: The site is not open for public access. People wishing to visit must ring the RSPB for permission, tel: 01603 660066.

Location: 5 miles east of Peterborough, access from B1040, immediately south-east of the river by the Dog in a Doublet bridge and pub.

Parking: At the reserve, just south of the bridge.
