The Strategy

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Waste Partnership was formed in 1999.

The  first Strategy for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough was written in 2002 and outlined the current and planned arrangements for waste collection, recycling, composting and other waste treatments for 2002 through to 2022.  See the links below.

The strategy is now due for revision. this will take place during 2006 and a new strategy document will be available in 2007.

To find out more, contact Helen Taylor, Waste Partnership Coordinator or visit the RECAP website.

The Strategy can be downloaded here and is in four parts:

The Strategy Part 1

The Strategy Part 2

The Strategy Part 3

The Strategy Part 4

The Strategy is currently going through review.  The links below are draft documents.  The adoption of these documents by the partnership has been approved by the Waste and Environment forum and is now going through the adoption process for each partner authority.  The documents should be finalised early January 2009.
