Getting Help
- Join a waste minimisation club through contacting Business Link Tel: 0345 882255 or email them and save on waste collection charges
- Contact a waste exchange service to see if your waste could be used by another company e.g. Waste Exchange Services Ltd Tel: 01642 606055
- Telephone your District Council to see if a separate recycling collection operates
Reducing Paper
- Reduce paper usage through sending electronic messages, photocopying on both sides of the paper
- Re-use envelopes
Recycling paper
- Contact a private disposal company to provide a paper skip for recycling
- Companies may make a charge for this, but you will save money on your other disposal costs
Good Practice
- Operate a staff suggestion system that offers rewards for good waste reduction ideas
- Purchase recycled goods – visit the Smart Shopper section of the website.
