Recycling Centres (RC's)

What are they?

Recycling Centres (RC's) are run by private companies for Cambridgeshire County Council. The centres are operated free of charge for members of the public but they do not take waste from businesses. If your waste is from a business please look under trade waste.

Where’s my nearest RC site?

Click on Cambridgeshire recycling centres for:

  • Detailed location information of each RC.
  • Site contact details.
  • Opening times
  • A list of accepted materials

You may, however, find a local non-Cambridgeshire RC more convenient.

Top tips on using the RC's:

  • Separate your waste before you go - it saves you time and helps us recycle more of your rubbish.
  • RC's can be busy at weekends and bank holidays and you may have to queue. If possible try to visit the site during weekdays when it's less busy.
  • There may be a short delay at some sites whilst we exchange skips. Please bear with us while the site is closed - it's for your own safety.
