Use of Recycling Centres
Extras

Reasonable amounts of the following waste types can be taken to any of the Recycling Centres in Cambridgeshire. These must be from your own household:

  • Bulky Items
  • Cardboard
  • Clothes
  • Compost
  • Cooking oil
  • Foil
  • Garden waste
  • Glass
  • Hardcore* (concrete/rubble)
  • Light bulbs (inc energy saving bulbs)
  • Metal (tins/cans/scrap metal)
  • Mobile phones
  • Pallets (non-returnable only)
  • Paper
  • Plasterboard**
  • Timber
  • Shoes
  • Soil*



The following hazardous items are also accepted. You may be asked to follow special procedures in their disposal. Please speak to the Site Operator for instructions:

  • Aerosols
  • Batteries (car/household)
  • Chemicals
  • Computer Monitors
  • Engine oil and filters
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Fridges/freezers
  • Paint
  • Televisions

 * Subject to Construction and Demolition policy restrictions
