Plasterboard recycling extended
We are now collecting plasterboard for recycling at eight of our nine recycling centres in Cambridgeshire. St Neots Recycling Centre will also start to collect plasterboard when it moves to a new facility at the end of 2009.
Plasterboard has previously been collected at four recycling centres, and will now be collected across the County.
To be accepted, plasterboard must be from your own household, and free from:
- Asbestos
- Foam
- Metal
- Plaster
- Polystyrene
- Rubble
- Tiles
- Wood
Quantities must be in line with the Construction, Demolition and DIY Waste policy. You may be refused disposal if a site operative deems your waste to be contaminated.
