Recycle as much as you can....

What? 
Many materials/waste types can be recycled....including...

  • Paper
  • Cardboard
  • Tins
  • Bottles and glass
  • Plastics
  • Garden waste
  • Peelings etc
  • Clothes/fabrics


How?
You can recycle or reuse your waste through many various ways...
Whether you use your:

1. Kerbside recycled collection 
2. Recycling centres/facilities - such as 'bring banks' 
3. Charity shops 
4. Compost


Hazardous waste:
Don’t put in bin!

What is hazardous waste?

  • Aerosols
  • Batteries (car/household)
  • Chemicals
  • Computer Monitors
  • Engine oil and filters
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Fridges/freezers
  • Paint
  • Televisions

How?
Most hazardous waste has to be dealt with via special disposal procedures by a licensed Private Waste Contractor


Electrical goods:

  • Cookers
  • Stereos
  • Microwaves


How?

Take to recycling centres or arrange a special collection

Bulky items:

What?

  • Beds
  • Cars
  • Furniture 
  • White Goods
