Salary

Your starting salary is £21,244 (pay award pending) and goes up periodically based on performance.

Local Government Pension Scheme

Training and development

Each scheme runs specific training dependant on the specialist area. Look at the programme pages on the left for more details.

The general training and development provided consists of Councillor shadowing, quarterly development days, trips to other Councils and Central Government as well as more formal training. Courses that have been run in the past year have ranged from recruitment and selection to Prince 2 (project management).
