Building on the successes of 2007, Cambridgeshire Archaeology is pleased to announce the publication of the public events programme for 2008.  Additions for the forthcoming year:

• A range of activities and displays at Whittlesey Library, Haddenham Blossom's and Bygones, the Reach Fayre, County Show and the Great Gransden show;
• The third Archaeology Art competition open to all schools in Cambridgeshire;
• Open days at the Cambridgeshire Archaeological Store in March and October; and
• Family activities to be held at Wandlebury Country Park to celebrate National Archaeology Week in July.

2007 was another successful year for the Outreach and Learning programme.  Some 97 events were attended by almost 8,000 people, with many events being carried out in collaboration with local history societies, schools and colleges.
