Resource packs

Cambridgeshire Archaeology has a variety of resource packs available for loan to schools, colleges and other educational/public establishments within Cambridgeshire.

There are Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval packs offering a great deal of teaching potential for your class. They hold both real and replica artefacts, excavation photos, general archaeological information and useful booklets. There are also an archaeological bones packs and a pottery pack which compliment the period themed resource packs above.

The resource boxes can supplement National Curriculum Key Stage 2 teaching programmes and can complement a broad range of disciplines such as Art & Design, History, Literacy, Maths and Science.

The artefacts in particular can be used to explore weights and measures, material types and textures and also help to initiate pupils in basing a story around an object and/or a particular period.

For more information on prices and how to book the packs see Booking Information.
