Information for Teachers

Cambridgeshire Archaeology offers a wide range of services and resources which promote access to the county's archaeology.

Teachers can arrange for an archaeologist come to talk at their school on a range of National Curriculum based topics.

In addition Cambridgeshire Archaeology has a range of Resource Packs for schools and educational establishments to borrow. See our resource pack pages for more information.

Archaeology is a cross-curricular subject, not simply part of the History topic. It deals with the understanding and discovery of past human life and therefore relates to many disciplines. The resources complement a broad range of National Curriculum topics, including History, English, Geography, Mathematics, Science, Design and Technology and Art.
