Each year, in partnership with a host of organisations including Portable Antiquities scheme (PAS), Cambridge Past, Present & Future (CPPF) and Oxford Archaeology East (OAE) we provide a programme of guided walks, activity events and finds identification days throughout the county.
At all our open days you can talk to professional archaeologists and get involved in activities, as well as watching re-enactors.
All sites are accessible to those with walking difficulties although, being outdoors, it may get muddy under foot. Our open days are open to all the family and are either free or have a small entry fee.
Guided walks
Although the walks are free, there may be a fee for parking cars. In general all walks start at 7pm on Wednesday evenings and last for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
This events programme for 2012 will be available in January.
