How to use this list

There is a base price for the creation of a digital image. These prices are listed in column 2 in the chart below.

An additional fee is then charged, depending on what format you would like the image to be delivered to you. If you would like an electronic copy of the image, then we charge £2.00 to make a CD, or £1.00 to email the image to you. (We do not email for free.) If you would prefer to have a print of the image on paper, then consult the prices in column 3 below.

All prices include VAT.

These prices apply only to orders of 20 images or less. For orders of 21 images or more please contact the Scanning Bureau for an estimate. In most circumstances, the higher the number of images in an order, the less each image will cost.

We reserve the right to add a surcharge, up to but not exceeding 20% of the normal price, for urgent orders which force us to reschedule existing work.

We will supply an estimate for orders of images from original documents above A0 in size. Most large maps, including many enclosure and tithe maps, are above A0. We can also quote for variations in the size of the finished hard copy print. Please contact the Bureau for details.

We can sometimes create digital images of documents in your own collection. Please contact the Bureau with details of your request.
