Online exhibition: Beginnings

Beginnings is an online exhibition showcasing some of the irreplaceable historical documents held by Cambridgeshire Archives Service.

This display has been created as part of the 2005-06 Archives Awareness Campaign.

Beginnings comprises eleven exhibits drawn from resources at the County Record Offices in Cambridge and Huntingdon. The exhibition has been written by Sue Neville and Alan Akeroyd of Cambridgeshire Archives Service. The documents have been scanned by the FSB Scanning Bureau.

We hope that Beginnings will help you appreciate the wide variety of historical sources which are available in Cambridgeshire's archives.
