The Big Move
During 2009 Huntingdonshire Archives will be moving all its historical documents to new, purpose-built premises.
The eight million historical documents currently held at Huntingdonshire Archives will move to the new Huntingdon Library and Archives Centre (HLAC), which will be built on the site of the present Huntingdon Library. The HLAC will ensure that Huntingdonshire's written heritage will remain within the town for today's citizens of Huntingdonshire to consult.
Planning and preparation for these moves may affect services currently being delivered by the Archives.
This web page will be kept up-to-date with developments.
