Reprographics

 

Cambridgeshire Archives and Huntingdonshire Archives offer a range of reprographic services:

Photocopies

All photocopying is carried out by staff. We can supply photocopies of many of the records in our care apart from pre-1837 parish registers; fragile records and awkward formats like rolled maps and large volumes which could be damaged by the photocopying process.

A4 photocopy: 45p  A3 photocopy: 70p

Microfilm or fiche printouts

By staff: 70p        Self-service: 50p

Certified copies  

Where a document can be photocopied, we can provide a certified copy for legal or official purposes.      £10.00

Digital photos

If it is not possible to provide a photocopy of a document, or if you would prefer to have a better quality image, our staff can supply prints of digital photographs.

    A4: £5.50              A3: £8.50 

(Also available on CD or as an email attachment; please specify when placing orders.)

High quality digital orders

If you require a very high quality scan or print for purposes of publication, exhibition etc our FSB Scanning Bureau can help.

Reprographic orders

To place an order, simply print-off and complete the Reprographics Order Form below and send it to us with your payment.

Postal/handling charges

Please allow for the following charges on top of the cost of your copying order:

UK: £2.50 or actual cost of postage if in excess of this.

Europe: £3.50 or actual cost of postage if in excess of this.

Rest of world: £4.50 or actual cost of postage if in excess of this.

Using your own camera

If the size, format or condition of a document prevents photocopying, photo permits may be purchased allowing the use of handheld digital cameras in the search-room. Photography will be at the discretion of staff and at the convenience of other search-room users. Flash photography and the use of tripods or monpods are not permitted.  

      Photo permit:  £10.00 per day

Please note that the photo permit only allows you to use a handheld digital camera. We do not allow the use of portable scanners or any other equipment which directly touches the document being imaged.
