Visiting the Local Studies Libraries

The most substantial collections of local history material are held at Cambridge Central Library, Huntingdon Library, and Wisbech Library.

Follow the links in the right hand column to the main Local Studies page.

In addition, smaller collections of local studies resources are available at other Cambridgeshire libraries, usually relating only to the specific town or village in which the library is located.

All our library buildings have an entrance that is accessible to wheelchair users and all have a low-level service counter. Handrails, hearing induction loops and clear signs are also provided. We are committed to enabling easier access to printed text, computers and the internet for people with disabilities and a range of adaptive technology equipment is available in our learning centres.
