'Colour and Movement'
This arts project was designed to integrate the experience of painting, movement and music.
60 pupils worked in small groups to create a ‘wall of colour’ which provided the backdrop for a performance to the school assembly.
The project enabled SEN pupils to produce a new sensory experience, and a video diary was made to record their discoveries. The student achievement record shows increased levels of skills levels in colour use, movement, imagination, group working and, particularly, in self-discipline.
