We welcome donations of books and other items and in particular newly published popular titles in good physical condition.
Items will be put in the most suitable library, not necessarily the one where the items were donated, and may be moved from library to library to ensure maximum use. Items which do not meet these criteria may be sold and the money raised will be used for the library service.
The Library Service reserves the right to deal with donations in the way which will fit with our overall policy for managing stock in terms of condition, subject matter and level, as there is a cost to the library service in handling donations.
