Concessions and the Doorstep Service
People who are housebound because of mobility or health problems are exempt from some standard library charges. To claim, just supply a letter from a doctor or social worker confirming that you cannot get to and from the library without help.

The Doorstep Service
If you have no-one to visit the library for you, then the Doorstep Service can probably help. A Library Co-ordinator will discuss your needs and try to find a suitable volunteer library visitor to deliver the service to your home. Telephone the number for your area and leave your phone number and a short message; the co-ordinator will call you back as soon as possible:
