Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

How can literature development help me?

Answer:

If you’re interested in books and literature, are a producer or consumer of literature we are here to provide support and information. This applies to all age groups, all levels (new, emerging, established writers) and all genres (poetry, novels, screen/radio/ playwriting, biography, social issues, etc).
You may be a writer, a promoter, a parent, a teacher; or just want to join a reader’s group or a writers’ circle – we can help with information, advice and networking

The Literature Development Officer works with libraries, schools, museums, District and City councils, arts centres, venues ... the list is endless. This knowledge of what the region has to offer and what's going on in the literature world is relevant to everyone
