Services for reading groups
Many libraries have reading groups that meet regularly and are open to new members. Speak to library staff to see if there is a group in your library or contact the Reading Group Librarian.
Some groups meet in the work place, in members’ homes or in locations such as pubs, cafés or village halls.
If you are a member of one of these groups or would like to set one up, we can offer advice such as how to use a reading group ticket and how to check on the catalogue for available books. We can also help with choosing books and promoting discussion.
For more information, speak to staff at your local library or contact the Reading Group Librarian.
