Facilities and equipment

Car parking- 2-hourly parking is available in The Crescent, with 2 disabled car parking spaces opposite Wisbech Library. Otherwise please use nearby public car parks
Public transport - The Horsefair Bus Station is just 0.2 miles away (5-10 minutes walk)
Ease of access - Wisbech Library is wheelchair friendly and fully accessible for all. There is also a lift available
Toilet - with disability access
Refreshments – available on ground floor
Photocopier (self-service) – available on both ground and first floors, A3/A4 colour and black & white
Printing – A4 b&w and colour (printing via Wi-fi is not possible)
Fax - staff operated
Information Points – situated on both ground floor and first floor
Computers – available free to library members, with access to Internet and email, including MS Office. Usage is limited to 1 hour per day. Wi-fi available (However, printing from personal laptops is not possible ) Computers may be pre-booked
Microfilm/Microfiche facilities - 2 machines available on first floor, with printing facilities, may be pre-booked

Borrowing and lending

Books - Fiction and non-fiction, some Local Studies titles, Quick Choice, Short and Sweet, Life Skills Collection, Foreign Fiction Collection (in selected languages) and Music Scores. Some magazines are available for a one week loan

Audio-visual - DVDs, Music CDs, Talking Books, Language Courses

For teenagers

Dedicated teenage collection with soft seating area

Books, DVDs and videos - a wide range of books for Under 5s including board books and picture books, as well as a large selection of story and information books for all ages

Reference and local studies

Details of information services in Wisbech and other larger libraries can be found here
There are many reference titles available in the lending areas, including a national set of Ordnance Survey 1:50000 maps. These are now shelved with the lending titles. They are clearly marked ‘For Use In Library Only'
Newspapers and magazines – available to read in the library, some magazines are available for a one week loan
