National Libraries Day is almost upon us and Libraries across the UK will be hosting all manner of events and activities celebrating libraries, librarians and library staff in all sectors.
Across Cambridgeshire Libraries we will be focusing on a membership drive by encouraging our existing borrowers to bring along a friend, relative, neighbour or colleague to their local library (that they love) to join up as a library member and borrow some books, magazines, DVDs or audio books, use the computers and have a browse of everything that’s on offer in your local library – basically just show them why it’s so great!
So make some time on Saturday 4 February or the week leading up to it to take someone along to your local library and show them just what they have been missing and why you love it so much!
