What is a PIN?
A library PIN is an extra identification number. You will need one for:
- Internet access in the library
- Accessing the library catalogue from home to renew or request, click here for the online catalogue
- Accessing library subscription services from home
How do I get a PIN?
New library members will automatically be given a PIN but if you already have a library membership card there are 3 ways to get one:
- Ask at any library, please make sure you have your library card with you for identification. Click here to find details of libraries in Cambridgeshire
- Click here to request a PIN using our online form
- Telephone 0845 045 5225 and give them your details, including your library membership card number
Please note that under the terms of the Data Protection Act we can only provide a PIN to the named holder of a library card. The only exception to this ruling is that we can provide the PIN for a child under the age of 12 to his/ her parent/ guardian
How do I change my PIN?
If you would like to change your PIN to the number of your choice there are 3 ways to do this:
