Summary of papers in libraries
Hub libraries (Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, March, Wisbech and Ely Libraries) take:
- at least one national paper local to their area
Most community libraries take the local weekly paper, and the jobs edition of the local daily paper
The archives of some major newspapers are held in libraries as microfiche, microfilm, or are available on CD Rom
Journals, magazines and periodicals
We take vocational and specialist periodical titles with an emphasis on providing titles that carry job vacancies or have an on-going reference value
Some titles are circulated to several libraries in turn
Back issues are available for most titles. The extent of the backfile depends on the nature of the title
Local publications are held in the local history sections of the larger libraries
