Requesting books and other items

Reserving library material that is not currently on the shelves

If you are unable to find the specific book or other item you want on the shelves, you may request it.  We undertake to supply 80% of all requests within 4 weeks 

A fee is payable for specific requests.  Click here for details of request charges

Supply of photocopied magazine articles from the British Library
In accordance with the Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003 a photocopy request declaration form must be completed before we can process requests for photocopied materials

A form to be completed and handed to staff with details of your request can be found on the right hand side of this page
