School visits
The Cromwell Museum can be a stimulating destination for a school visit across all phases of education. At Key Stages One and Two Cromwell can be a focus as a famous person, or as part of a local study on the Civil War. At Key Stages Three and Four Cromwell and the 17th Century is most often part of the history curriculum, but there are opportunities to use the Museum more widely, for example in art, religious studies and technology. At ‘A’ level the Museum has a lot to offer those studying the Civil Wars and Protectorate in depth.
When planning a visit from your school please consider the following:

· Admission to the Museum is free, but donations are invited.
· Organisers should note that the Museum has no lavatory facilities. Public conveniences are available at the Bus Station and nearby in Grammar School Walk.
